And, dozens of people per day use it in Europe.  A stunning technical and
consumer achievement.  If only the broadcasters had to rely on it for
revenues ...

The fact that, in reference to portable ATSC reception, Bert said "Thanks
goodness this is not likely to happen before 2009 now, giving us a chance at
a couple of generations beyond the Casper chip" IS very telling.

Successful portable DVB-T was demonstrated 4 years ago in Las Vegas, and has
only gotten better since then.
