I'm going on the basis that all flat screens will have a shorter lifespan
than CRT's.  If that's the case, the question becomes will LCD have a
longer life span than Plasma?  Possibly... that's why I went and bought a
cheapie.  What I paid won't break the bank if I need to replace it 5 years
from now.  And by then, who knows what the technology will be like.

Not sure about the analog audio... is there some adapter jack you could get?
