I don't know about an adapter. Now, they are offering a package to get the TV and then add a Panasonic boom box home theatre with blu-ray player for about $330 extra, which would solve the sound issue. I think it hooks in via the HDMI input. Still need to find that out. But that is $330 more out of the pocket. Don't know if it is worth it. -----Original Message----- From: nikonf4-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:nikonf4-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of mark@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, November 29, 2010 11:31 AM To: nikonf4@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [nikonf4] Re: It's starting.... I'm going on the basis that all flat screens will have a shorter lifespan than CRT's. If that's the case, the question becomes will LCD have a longer life span than Plasma? Possibly... that's why I went and bought a cheapie. What I paid won't break the bank if I need to replace it 5 years from now. And by then, who knows what the technology will be like. Not sure about the analog audio... is there some adapter jack you could get? > Thanks. I am still looking. Looked at the Panasonic G series 50" at > Best Buy this weekend.
