        We've talked about this like a month or two ago with Wiki forward.  

        Plasma uses about < 20% CRT projection and >20% LCD electricity - so 
this consideration is kind of minute.  Plasma's screen life has gone way up in 
recent years - to 300,000 hours.  Plasma usually shows way better picture 
because each pixels emit light rather than being projected like LCD TVs are - 
regardless of LED or CCFL light source.

        For these reasons, I am leaning toward plasma as my next TV - if they 
are still around then.  So, what was the brand you got?
