With most word processors go to File: Save As and pick your
poison. There may even be an option for Word Perfect in various
flavours (or Word, ClarisWorks/Appleworks also in differnt
flavours for that matter plus plain text/ASCII, RTF). It use to
be that Shift-Command-S (shift-OA-S for us old schoolers) would
bring upt the dialogue but depending on the program there may not
be an assigned keyboard sequence to do it. Word on Windows
doesn't have by default from what I can tell in either the Office
200 or 2003 versions, not sure about Word for Mac on OS X as I'm
still computing in the Mac Dark Ages.
