I have a Verbatim Store 'n' Go and I just tried it on my USB hub and
it works. I remember the first one I bought I had to return because
my Mac would not recognize it so maybe you have a dud. I would
exchange it and try again, if it does not work on the hub there could
be an issue with the type of hub you have or a conflict with
something else
