To Hal...I did know that your instructions were for Outlook 2002, but
thought they might have pointed me in the right direction anyway.
To Greg...I know about what you suggested, but that changes ALL emails to
plain text whereas I was looking for an option to allow me to mark
individual recipients as always being sent plain text or HTML. There is such
an option in Netscape Messenger which I always relied on before moving to
Outlook, and Linda's earlier posting seems to say there is such an option in
Outlook 2000 but I can't find it. She said...
"I just went into my old Outlook 2000 on another machine....go into your
address book and double click on any name to get into the
properties....click on the "Name" tab at the top....you will see the
checkbox for plain text at the bottom of that page"
When I do as she suggested I don't see anything with a Name tab. That's when
I asked the question about whether that might be because my address book is
pulling from a Contact List...I just don't know.
Bottom line is I still can't find a way in Outlook 2000 to set some
addresses to always receive plain text and others to always receive HTML so
I don't have to do it manually for each individual email.
Sorry everyone if the confusion in my mind is spilling over into how my
questions are coming out here.
