Linda,

In Outlook 2002/XP you can do this by opening the address book and then
double click on the contact name. Then right click on the e-mail
address in question and choose properties, use the Internet Format drop
down to determine the e-mail format for the contact.

In the address book....there was a checkbox at the bottom and if you
highlighted any name in the list, you could check it to tell Outlook
only to send plain text to this particular person

But I can't find it in 2002 :-(

Hi Linda,

Not sure this problem with '=3D20' and 'blank' is just related to html
mail.

I've noticed it in quite a few of my posts, but I only ever use plain
text - even converting to plain text when someone write to me in html.

With the option to only use plain text with certain contacts - is/was
that through the Address Book or Contacts in Outlook 2000?

Cheers
