Hi Cheryl, Don't worry, not taken as contradictory at all. I think the thing that weirded me out yesterday was that nothing seemed to work, not even getting it into speaker mode. Anyway, I plan to do exactly as you suggest. I'm sort of sad that you can't take the battery out, like you can on a Windows phone That was always a great last-ditch cure for anything that could come up. Not at all meaning to be contradictory but the double tap with two fingers should work. I know it took a few tries for me to get used to this and I still have to do it twice sometimes. Be careful though; a couple of times I've accidentally done three fingers and cut off speech though it's a toggle so I was able to turn speech back on with three fingers double tap again. -- Cheryl "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web > interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web > interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover >
