Hello all,I might be wrong here, but your phone doesn't know it has been transferred to someone's voicemail. All that happens is that the call gets forwarded, and the machine answers. It just doesn't make too much sense to me that it would work just fine in a call, and it just doesn't work when the call is answered by the voicemail. I wonder why... In any case you should try calling someone and tell that person to wait until you actually hang up. Probably what has been happening is that the other one hung up every time, so you thought your phone was hanging up but the call got terminated by the other end. Just a thought...

You know, one Patricck mentioned is that the End Call button becomes the focus when you're transferred to voicemail. I wonder if that changes at the point that you actually begin speaking to leave a message.Donna -----Original Message----- From: David Poehlman <david.poehlman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 2009 5:01 AM To: macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxxSubject: [macvoiceover] Re: hanging up from a call after leaving a voicemailI've tried it quite a bit and sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work. What I have found is that if I can flick through the phone and hear the end call button, then double tap works. Not at all meaning to be contradictory but the double tap with two fingers should work. I know it took a few tries for me to get used to this and I still have to do it twice sometimes. Be careful though; a couple of times I've accidentally done three fingers and cut off speech though it's a toggle so I was able to turn speech back on with three fingers double tap again. -- Cheryl "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."Click on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceoverClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover
