As a recreational philosopher, I'm surprised that Rorty isn't among the
top five, or at minimum, top ten. That seems to doom the seriousness of
the respondents right away, suggesting confounds in the woodshed. It's
also odd to see MacIntyre--is that Thomist M. or younger M.?--tied with
William James.
