Well, first off these are new, not slightly used. Give it a while
when they start to show up on the used market and they'll be down
around that price. There is some intricate machining to them in order
to adapt the Leica to a Canon, and they're not a high volume item as
when Tamron was making their various "Adapt All" adapters. There is
no Leica name on them. They're being made in Japan. To me they're
worth $90 to $100 new, but not $175! The most important question
about such an adapter is, do they focus accurately at infinity. Mine
does and I paid $80 less than Camera Quest wants, even though they try
the old warning, "Don't be fooled by generic imitations." I'm not
fooled, for $86 less I got a finely made adapter with the same
functions as the higher priced model. So one has to ask, what does
the additional $86 Camera Quest charges buy me?
