I've taken the sideways approach by installing Chrome on my long out of use laptop, which runs in Vista. It lasted a couple of hours before the green light on the charger went out. I'll have to check through my accumulated rubbish, in search of another charger. GRRRRR!

Gerry First you have to export your Favorites from IE and save the file in default .htm format. The exact steps will depend on which version of IE you are running. Then import this file into Chrome - button at extreme right of menubar (3 short parallel lines), then Bookmarks -> Import Bookmarks and settings. Both machines still use Internet Explorer. Perhaps that's the reason and I should change to Google Chrome? When I first took a look at it however I couldn't access my build up of FAVORITES. How do I access IE Favorites in Google Chrome, please???? Gerry Winskill --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com
