chip thinkyou could not be more wrong, i think often they do fix the issue
in a newer jfw release, the memo or fix info is left for those using older
versions of jfw.
its one reason picking a older not new out of the box video card is a wiser
choice for a blind user.
as far as a t i is concern the 9000model to the 9500 are similar cards.
the 9600 underwent much change when a t i acquired a video game manufacture
and then became more competitive in the 3 d game areana as a result of this
acquasition.
also cards prior to the 9000 are also significantly differant so expecting
drivers from a t i to be identical for differant cards is not a good
conclusion for one to reach.
think the majic a t i issue hasnothing to do with jfw and think it occurs
with out jfw on the system.
like pullman i agree because the a t i card has been in the pipe line jfw
should solve the problem for such a popular andmainstreem card in the
market and get it working with majic.
where i do agrree with you chip is that f s should at least put forth a
small list of cards that do work.
at least name one card that works with both magic and jfw.
