Personally, I'm developing Jewel-OBJC to more or less use a plugin strategy, its not there yet, but this would also, of course, then encompass theming, if so required. At which point, you could have a module that reads a particular kind of theme file, plug that in, and magically have a desktop that looks like something completely different. Then again, I want to do the same with most of the handling from the window mangler. That way, you can tailor it to be as minimilistic or bloated as you like, and by using shared libs or modules you can handle a whole plethora of random crap. Just my 2ps, happy to be argued down on this, but I'm trying to go for the 'little bits that do their jobs well' approach. -- Brett.
