[jaws-uk] Re: jaws is broken!

The problem is probably only that Jaws doesn't now start 
automatifcally.  (See my post regarding  jaws 7.1 uninstall.  I know 
it's a pig, but if this is the case, here's a suggestion.  Find your 
desktop icon for your current, working version of Jaws.  Rename it, 
using the F2 key to something beginning with X.
Install the new Jaws.  We must assume it's in and working, just not talking.
Close it with insert+F4.
Push windows key+M to get to the desk top.
Push x then return, wait for your old Jaws to start, then you at least 
have speech.
Note that everyy new version of Jaws is full of bugs, and it's far 
better to wait until they've all been sorted before downloading updates.
