Ah, very interesting, and very cheap. :) Only problem is that I've already
ordered a minipodule hard disc and controller from you
(http://www.cjemicros.co.uk/micros/individual/prodpages/HW-2_5170+I.shtml),
and, well, I haven't received the A3010, yet, but from what I've read, it
can only take _one_ minipodule...

Anyway, since I've recently received some RISC OS software on _floppy
discs_, as well, it seems getting a floppy disc to work with the Cube may be
the best option. As it apparently has a floppy disc connector on the
motherboard, then from the responses in this thread it seems the remaining
issue is to get power to it (possibly by extending a floppy drive power lead
from the nearby PC).

I've already tested one USB floppy disc (thanks to Paul Vigay's tip), but it
apparently wasn't compatible with the Iyonix, as it didn't show up as any
device (except on !USBinfo). If RISC OS has support for an USB device, will
it tell you that, somehow? The same USB floppy drive works fine on a PC with
Windows. It's not on Caste's list of known compatible USB devices, either,
but so is no other USB floppy drive.

Regards,

Terje
