You misunderstood. I said, if suppose if A resides in Royapuram and B
resides in Washermenpet, A must be listed under Royapuram but NOT also
on Washermenpet. The same goes for B. Suppose if C also resides in
Washermetpet, under 'Washermenpet' we have 2 entries - B, C. but not A
just because that A is nearby it. Hope you understand.
Everyone should have the freedom to contribute and
share the CDs rather than bureaucratically assign
people to areas.
Each one is assigned to his own location, let him/her be listed under the same.
To illustrate the confusion, look at 'Chennai' and 'Pending' section in
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Sridharinfinity/ILUGC
Now suppose under location X, A and B are listed according to your
recommendation. A is listed because he resides in X. B is listed
because X is nearby his area. Now a person in X wants some CDs to be
written. Sure, he can approach A or B for that. It is just *or*. I
can make some decisions like to contact the *most* nearby person. But
he is not sure. In my suggestion, B is not listed under X at all. B
is listed under say Y. Thus this would avoid some confusion and that
person can simply call A.
The catch is some people may not be aware of the nearby locations.
May be we can link to the Chennai map. Otherwise, it will become
tedious for us to maintain the list.
