Hi Sridhar:
I did update the list for the different areas.
Otherwise, this
would cause
redundancy and information is copied to multiple
place.
It is not redundant data. It is data for each separate
area. As an individual I can provide service to
members in 3 or 4 nearby areas that are walkable
distance! It is important for us to provide coverage
for as many areas so that we can reach out as far as
possible.
With volunteers specified for only one area, we get
back to square one. For example, a person in
Kottivakkam may find his required CD only from a
person in Mylapore, if we don't mention the fact that
there is a nearby maintainer in Adayar/Thiruvanmiyur
(who might have the CD).
That is why I had specified earlier to create a
database, volunteers versus areas. Also because some
people may live in one place and work in another area.
The initial list (v0.2) that I had created specifies a
volunteer for many areas.
