I uploaded a new patch on http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7964 that corrects
the menu handling so it now works as intended. It was a little bit more
complicated than I thought. Ingo or Andreas (or axeld) can you look at the
patch and see if it looks okay?
I explicitly add each layout file to the image in the HaikuImage script
one-by-one as Ingo suggested.
The changes to the keymap preference app are to make it treat subdirectories
in the KeyboardLayouts/ dir as submenus. I only support 1 level of
subdirectories.
A consequence of my changes to the menu is that the 'Generic 105-key
International' layout is no longer placed at the top of the menu, instead it
is placed alphabetically. It is still the default though and gets marked and
activated if nothing else has been selected.
