Debbie,

The mapping data is available publicly.  I can't remember the standard, but 
they did a huge mapping project using the Space Shuttle back in the late 80's. 
So, you'd have the same results, at least in 99% of the areas, with NavTech 
particularly in North America.

All the names of the streets are listed in the RV park where we
stay every winter, plus the café and the golf club.  That might
not be the case with "some other mapping system.  I like having
those things listed, as otherwise there are few landmarks, and
only a couple places where there are sidewalks.    Debby and Cleo
