When I have been out caching I just assume I have been exposed to PI. I see some one at least a third of all caches. On Sunday I paid attention to see how much poison ivy I would see, on 100% of the caches (except on one virtual that I did not have to leave the road) I saw poison ivy. On several the predominate ground cover was PI.

>>Here is a tip: Once exposed, you have a 2 to 4 hr. window of time to wash
the areas down with soap and water. Once you've done that, you want to go
over the areas with rubbing alcohol. Any oils that may still be on the skin
the alcohol will take care of.<<

Great tip. I went and bought some tecnu soap too. Unfortunately, I didn't
know I had been exposed until the next day when I broke out. By that time
the damage was done! Too late then. So an even better tip: Pay attention to
the green stuff when outside!
