1) Sleep, you should try it. It works wonders...

a. Happily running Debian Lenny
b. SOFTWARE RAID-1 now works and boots from EITHER drive
3) Wireless bridge:
Never tried that one before but will be required once deployed.
Server is running 'wirelessly' via an access point (DD-WRT) acting as
a client bridge.
a. Turns out Sunday nights problems was my home WAP11 (running
D-Link DWL-900AP+ firmware) locking up. Hardware reset solved that.
b. WHSE-Debian working nicely and doesn't even know it's on a
wireless link.
