#1 - You can select the environment that FoxView or Display Manager uses on start-up. Edit the fv_cmds or wp51_cmds file #2 - The Alarm document you need depends on the version of IA that you are using. Older versions use B0193RV. You have a large number of options to change the look of the CAD. You can protect certain field under different environemts. There are some quirks for fonts and other presentation features, but it is very flexible. The B0700AM is dated 2005 and I think applies to V8. #3 - Sorry #4 - Letterbugs ( Remember KISS) When they are built with the correct length of pins they are awesomely simple and easy to read and work like a charm. They are certainly much better than an easily stolen, mis-placed or mal-functioning PDA, especially since we still need letterbugs for FBM's. Second choice might be a USB port but then we still have to mark the actual CP so you can read the letterbug on the module. I would vote no for dip switches, if that became a possibility. Hand marking an identifier onto the modules can make your very expensive systems look like crap. Question 2) 15 pts show all work What are the correct steps to remove buttons from the alarm manager displays so that they are gone when the alarm manager restarts. Is manual B0700AM correct, if so why? Question 3) 10 pts After setting the SIMOPT=1 and SIMCIN = 0XFFFF why does the PLB ladder show simulate, but non of the CINs are shown high? Question 4) 10 pts discussion How stupid is the way a PDA is required to set letterbugs on FCP270s? What benefit does this provide a plant employee? You have exactly 1 hour. You may begin now.
