Well all he can do is have them put the container where he wants. With
Pods they drop it off you load it up they transport and store it then they
deliver the box and then you unload it.
Much cheaper to get a big moving truck for a few weeks. Also few
individuals can afford to have a moving company do the whole thing for
them. Those big ones are paid for by people getting relocated by their
company or the govt. It's almost always cheaper to sell your stuff before
you leave and transport as little as possible then buy new stuff when you
get there.

Since they're increasing your costs I'd be very particular about the
movers putting each item exactly where you want it. Then if you find
the tiniest scratch on any of your belongings...
