Michael, I also find that the mechanism that Windows Installer provides for listboxes won't handle strings that are longer than sixty-four characters. Currently, the maximum template name length appears to be fourty-eight characters. But DBT is less restrictive than the sixty-four character limit in Windows Installer listboxes. So we will at least have to bear in mind that we'd be introducing a new limitation. - Peter -----Original Message----- From: duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michael Surato Sent: Thursday, April 13, 2006 1:54 PM To: duxhelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxhelp] Re: Default Templates My vote would be to have an override in the custom install for any automated action. +-------------------------------------------+ | Michael Surato | | Resource Center for Persons | | with Disabilities | | Michigan State University | | 120 Bessey Hall | | East Lansing, MI 48824 | | Voice: (517) 353-9643 Fax: (517) 432-3191 | +-------------------------------------------+ > -----Original Message----- > From: duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:duxhelp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Christian Coudert > Sent: Thursday, April 13, 2006 1:45 PM > To: duxhelp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [duxhelp] Re: Default Templates > > Peter: > > OK for a template based on the locale. > > The French template could be named "Francais 2006".
