  Hi Mike,

Thanks my friend that's the part I missed out as I never set my own system up.
This young girl is such a talented singer, unfortunately like me she's not
competent or confident with computers.

  thanks again Mike.

    Hey Steve!

When your friend has located the necessary 8-track audio triple 'A'
template and loaded it, if she wants this template to appear every time she
opens Sonar, she must do the following!

    1). Save it as:

    normal.cwt

It must be as above, VERBATIM!!!

2). She should save it in the "Sample contents" folder of the Cakewalk
folder, which, up until Sonar v8.3 was found in "My Documents".

It always happens when the track isn't armed...

I mean, its a simple enough request, remember, Steve's friend is a
novice, so a modicum of tolerance is probably appreciated!

Could you please elaborate? I've never heard JAWS say the statement
"Not recording".
Does the metronome sound when pressing the (r) for record?

You might try the audio profiles un General if your using WDM
drivers.\

            Hi Sean,

Thanks so much for responding so quickly.

Regarding my other question, do you know what may be happening when
an audio track is armed yet Jaws is saying, "Not recording."
