Hi all,
In my opinion, both J Sonar, and Ct are good. However, if you don't have
hundreds of dollars to spend, and you want to get up and running with Sonar,
J Sonar is the way to go.
Personally, Sonar 6 has been out since last summer, and it seems that Cake
talking can't keep up with each cycle before a new version of Sonar is
release.
I love using Ct, but wonder if my wallet can stand a double bang with Ct and
Sonar six months after Sonar is released.
Lets do the math,
$179 for the upgrade of Sonar producer, when the public version of Cake
Talking is released in 6 to 8 months for the upgrade is $149,
With a grand total of Roughly $330.
This doesn't include tax and shipping. On the other hand, for those who like
Ct but can't wait can use J Sonar in the meantime.

I reckon it's gotta be a user opinion!
I mean, they both have their pro's and cons!
Being a relative novice to making music with PC's the CT option seemed the
easier and more obvious choice, especially as they come with a thorough set
of tutorials/manuals?
And, the guys over at Dancing Dots, are very friendly and helpful, not to
say the guys who compose J.Sonar aren't, but it just seemed the most
apparent thing for me to do at the time!
Not to mention, that I didn't know of the existence of any alternative, when
I first got introduced to Sonar!
