Tough shit then Its his own fault. If he was told to bring it in and simply couldnt be bothered to make the time for that long then thats his problem Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2014 17:01:11 +0200 Subject: RE: USF4 changes! From: nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Yeah. So our spectacle user did that. The return warranty period is 12months. He didn't have time to bring it in...for 15months... until he went for surgery on his arm, and now has time. We can no longer return the product to OUR supplier. Yes, they did laugh at us. He expects us to fix it now, no charge. On 23 Jun 2014 16:50, "Wynand-Ben" <paashaasggx@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Does it have a warranty that covers 15 months? Would also depend on the first time he spoke to the supplier(After 2 weeks) and what exactly was discussed. Did the supplier tell him to bring it in? That they will come pick it up? That they will get back to him regarding the issue? etc. If the user was just lazy or forgot about it and returned it after the warranty/guarantee lapsed then the supplier would probably do nothing. Not their fault. Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2014 16:40:38 +0200 Subject: Re: USF4 changes! From: nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx So, hypothetical question.... If you were to purchase something... then find out it doesn't work to spec and tell the supplier after 2 weeks, then not use it for another 15 months and bring it back to the supplier. What would you expect the supplier to do?
