An idea then.  Maybe there could be a way for michelle to tell those of us
who are blind the current state of the ATC window.  Like she does with the
simulator.  I.e., when we issue the command "ATC," or, "toggle ATC,"
Michelle could say "the ATC windows is now open and in view," or, "the ATC
window has now been closed."
