My husband just helped me.  I had to pull on either side of the card with
both hands.  I have very short, stubby, weak fingers, so this may help
someone with not a lot of strength in just one hand.  If you have a lot of
strength and long fingernails, you can do it with one hand.

Be sure to have your headphones on and listen for the two beeps that 
indicate that it is safe to remove the flash card.  It takes a few seconds 
to hear the beeps after you stop reading.  There is no need to remove the 
card though unless you want to put another one into the Book Port.  You also

have to pull fairly hard on the card to remove it so don't be afraid to 
exert some effort.  Hope you enjoy the Book Port.  It will be helpful to 
read through the manual to become familiar with the Book Port.  If something

doesn't make sense people on the list will be glad to help.  Did you get a 
cassette tape with the manual on it?  I listened to that before I tried to 
use the Book Port.

1. How do I put the batteries?  I try, but the machine doesn't say ready.
2. How do I remove the flash card?
