I noticed the same thing, well sort of. Sometimes he'll make an indirect
comment or 2 about one of them, but it is a lot less than it used to be.
I agree, it's hard to get the feel of a podcast from just a promo alone,
and there *does* appear to be a lot more podshow stuff going on, but i
guess in his defense, that's what he's involved in, so obviously that's
gonna make it in there. Just so long as it doesn't just turn into a big
ole commercial for Podshow stuff only. If Podshow wants their own podcast
to showcase all the people on there they can certainly do that. I do like
the wicky idea for the shownotes. Leo Laporte seems to be able to do that
and nobody minds.
and as far as internet access goes and getting it for free, I guess he fels
like he's only going to be there temporarily and it probably isn't long
enough to justify paying for net access. I figure maybe if he was there
longer he'd get himself a proper connection.
I guess the best way for all of us to let him know how we feel is to
comment in his blog, or send him an e-mail. hey, he's got a 4 gig gmail
account now, so lord knows he has the room.
Hi Holly,
You are right on target with your comments concerning The Daily Source Code. I have decided to remove Adam's podcasts from my list of favorites.

Subject: [Blind Casting] daily source code
I don't know if this is off topic or not, but is anyone else getting really tired of listening to the daily source code? It seems like more and more there's no substance its just fluff. It used to be interesting because you could hear about different podcasts etc, but now all it seems to be is promos, but he doesn't really talk about the podcasts. Its hard to get a feel for podcast with just a promo. It seems the only podcasts he talks about are ones he's either directly or indirectly involved with. We also get to hear about biodesil, which I guess was interesting 2 months ago. Now the latst thing is that he can't even be bothered to do his own show notes, and also can't be bothered to pay for internet access.
I don't know, maybe I'm just looking for things but lately I've just struggled to listen. I just needed to rant a bit.
