Hi, As bookshare evolves, I'd like to see series as a separate field on the database. As I input data for all the pq books, I'm filling in a lot of series titles and book numbers. I usually do it a certain way, but I thought I would ask what everyone prefers. I have a couple of questions for you all, and you may write me on or off list with your answers. allisonh@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Keep in mind that I'm not looking to set up any sort of Bookshare requirement for writing series titles. This is just for my own personal knowledge as I work on the pq books. If someone already has a way they like to do it, he or she can definitely still do so. QUESTIONS: 1. Which of the below do you like best? a. Title (Series Name, then the word series, #1). b. Title (Series name Book #1). 2. Do you prefer some punctuation after the book title in order to separate it from the series info? 3. Do you like when the number sign (#) is inserted before the book number? I imagine that I'll likely get a lot of differing opinions, but I'll try to go with what's most popular. Remember, this is just for the books whose titles I happen to edit, not something that will apply to all titles. I look forward to your input.
