HI all :-) 

 

I have seen this in a book or two and am wondering how others handle it 

 

In a chapter the author will have numbers parts. 

They are simply designated by a 1. 2. 3. 

I have found in these cases the number will be at the end of a sentence
without a space. 

 

Example: the boy ran to the house1. or the rain fell endlessly.2 

 

How are others editing these?
