Hi Sue, The BookShare pages still give you the option to browse for a path. It should say something like Select File. And then there should be a File Upload Edit box. While in forms mode, tab once and you won't be told its there, but press space bar, as you've landed on the browse button. Things should now work as they always have. If this still gives you trouble. Desktop files are located within a specific users profile in Windows XP. You'll need to go to c:\documents and settings\username\desktop\your file name.zip You'll need to replace username with your Windows name. If you need to see what the choices are, open my computer. Press on the C Drive. Then choose documents and Settings. There should be a list of users presented. For example, if my logon name is Jake and I have a file called Music.zip on my Desktop, the full path would be something like this: C:\Documents and Settings\Jake\Desktop\Music.zip HTH, Jake ----- Original Message ----- From: siss52 To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, July 02, 2006 2:46 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Hello, Darkness Here I am again still trying. It is getting used to this computer that is causing me problems. This file appears as follows: Where it says desktop, it is listed as 13, "hello.zip". Then when I press enter I see "hello_darkness Then if I press enter on that title it opens the file in word, as it should. Now here is what I need to know. How do I get it to give me the full path? I have a portable Dell Notebook with DSL, Windows XP, and Jaws 7.0. Can some of you computer savvy people tell me what to do to get the full path? The bookshare.org page for upload used to browse for a path if you needed it to, but now it does not. I want to learn rather than give up and e-mail it if at all possible.
