16º, clear, ground is snow covered about 6 inches deep.

Highway 268 is barely plowed. It is ice covered. It would be better with snow 
cover.  I would not drive it without 4-wheel drive.
Never got out of my jeep.

The geese were all at Wood Tract north which is frozen and snow covered. The 
only open water is where the WMA is pumping in water.
No ducks seen.
No horned larks or longspurs. Maybe when the road gets the ice melted away they 
will be back to the edges.
