I covered Gentle Pond, Pond Creek Marsh, and Shorebird Unit and dike to the
fluddle west of Muddy slough.


A really good day.


Highlights:
FOS Mississippi Kite
FOS 3 Semipalmated Plover
FOS Spotted Sandpiper
FOS 20 Dunlin
FOS 2 Acadian Flycatcher
FOS 2 Gray-cheeked Thrush
FOS Chestnut-sided Warbler

Long-billed Dowitcher continue at the fluddle. Present were also the Dunlin,
both yellowlegs and pecs.

The Semipalmated Plovers were in the fluddle across KY268 from Muddy Slough.





The biting gnats were bad today, worse than yesterday. The only relief was when
I smoked my pipe or when the wind blew.
