Gentle Pond area open. I spent over 2 hours there.
Next onto Pond Creek Marsh, then walked the east levee of Wood Tract South to 
the Shorebird Unit.


Highlights:
1 Bald Eagle on the BIG nest at Gentle Pond.
4 Long-billed Dowitchers
3 Bufflehead
Greater & Lesser Yellowlegs
Pectoral Sandpipers
FOS Barn Swallow
Chipping Sparrow


Bald Eagle nests: 4 in the Sloughs WMA, 3 are at Sauerheber and 1 at Jenny Hole 
area. In addition one at Audubon Wetlands portion of John James Audubon State 
Park.


Temp. in the 40s, clear and a brisk wind out of the NW.
