James, The job is probably a re-badged web maintenance person and, from my observation, the trend is for web jobs to pay very little. Perhaps this = is because there is always a swag of people with web skills who will work = for next to nothing because they enjoy the work. I often heard it said that there is no future in web work because graduates will do the work for a pittance. There were probably quite a few applicants for that job! The Seek web site lists a job for a "Web Content Editor" for a=20 government department/organization in Brisbane. The pay is $30,000 for=20 twelve months' work. This works out to $15.38 per hour (52 weeks, 37.5 hours per week). For=20 a comparison, my daughter works part-time as a checkout operator for a=20 supermarket, and earns $15.03 per hour.
