If you do a search, you'll find programmatic ways to tell the printer you
want duplex printing, or not. That's simpler than what you want but a look
at what it involves will probably discourage you! It involves Windows API
programming (see Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q230743). If you
persevered, you could probably adapt it to get access to the commands that
set the options for long-side/short-side duplexing, but I would be
reluctant to go there. Maybe not an unnatural act, but it could tie you
up...

I think it would be more usable anyway to be able to look at two parts of
the same diagram at the same time rather than having to flip it over to see
front and back.
