Hi Lars Tore,in principle you are right - for this reason i have gentoo on my laptop. But if someone just want to try a software, especially without know how to compile programs, its easier to use the compiled version (perhaps only a feeling). And the Problem was "libXss.so.1 not found" and not can't compile programm ;-)

Best regards UdoHello Udo I tested this on my laptop with an ubuntu 64 bit. Here is the result from making a profile with a self compiled version, as mentioned in an earlier email. profile check complete, peak err = 6.443749, avg err = 0.831665 Exectution time = 56.240000 seconds And the result from the downloaded i386 binary. profile check complete, peak err = 6.668158, avg err = 0.821331 Exectution time = 65.630000 seconds As you can see the self compiled version is faster and the other tools works also, so why not just compile it and skip the lib32 stuff?
