As Martin wrote, one of the problems whit ink limiting is that these
decisions are often subjective and therefore not reproducible.
Considering another view of the same data (the Lightnes-Croma plane),
one could draw a different conclusion:

With this said, I have no idea how to get down to a impartial,
reproducible ink limiting method.
