Another cut-off to consider in addition, would be delta E from
origin divided by delta device value. This would be a criteria to stop when the
benefit from extra ink reaches a diminishing point. There needs to be
some thought about how to set this threshold (it may need to be scaled to
the overall maximum delta E of the colorant locus).
