We should welcome the Borg, one of the Minor Masters of camera profiling.
Now we will be assimilated :)
Minor, because after all our living Masters are constrained by decisions
made aeons ago by the major Masters, among which the great Bayer, who I
think also invented the shaper/matrix transforms. And there may not be any
really good way to get reasonable color out of anything that is not a true
multispectral sensor, with individual adjustment for the pigments in each
viewer's eyeball ...
