I think this is going to work. A quick-n-dirty experiment with the i1
scan target resulted in a profile:
profile check complete, peak err = 8.533040, avg err = 2.157088
Exectution time = 4.130000 seconds
I then photographed the same scene with a ColorChecker, and the
photographed version is pretty close. It's not quite spot-on, but it's
close enough to easily survive the first glance test. For quick-n-
dirty, it's excellent, which gives me hope that I'm more on to
something than merely on something. It's definitely worth further
experimentation.
