Hi Chris,That won't back up the library, only the files that belong to it. You wouldhave to reimport them to the library, but this is of course, possible. So to get it into iTunes on the desktop would I copy and past it or import the folder? The only way I can think of is to copy your whole iTunes folder found under your profile's music folder (mine is c:\users\Chris\music\iTunes) and paste the folder onto an external device. Then plug your external device onto your desktop and do it the other way round. I'm sorry for not replying, and I'm also sorry to hear you've had no responses. I believe the guys at T&T won't be back tillJanuary 5, so guess that doesn't help either. Anyway, hope this helps andgood luck. -- Chris Hallsworth E-mail: christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: CH9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Wilson" <barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: "Access-UK" <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, January 02, 2009 4:46 PM Subject: [access-uk] iTunes help please!I know there is a list for users of iTunes etc, but I have tried on thereand reeceived no replies, so I am trying this list in the hope that thereare members here not on that other list. I am trying to move my iTunes library from a laptop to a desktop. I want to do this by backing up the library to an external USB drive, howeverwhen I try to back up it is asking me to insert a disc with apparently nooption to change the back up location. Is this possible and if so, how doI go about it?
