Hi Chris,

No need to back up the library itself, just back up the actual files.  Then
if Itunes goes belly-up, just reimport the files to your library.  If you
have rea ctivated your Itunes, then your purchases will play just fine.  The
library is only a database of shortcuts to the files, not the files
themselves.
