Hi Ari I'm not saying it does have the US firmware, I was curiously wondering if you had inadvertently downloaded the wrong version that's all. Apparently, the US firmware on the BookSense is different from the release we have to use, so is just a point to be aware of. I'm sure someone in the IT section of RNIB will be able to help you if that becomes necessary. You have to put the two files onto an SD card, then go to Advanced Options, and Upgrade Firmware. Follow the prompts. Don't have anything else on the SD card, only the two files you need. You can download these from www.comproom.co.uk Where you have a choice of Standard or XT versions of the firmware upgrade to choose from. Good luck Ari, nice to see you on list again. I'm thinking that I might have the US firmware, because it keeps on wanting me to have bookshare and newsline folders. If I have US, I really wish there's a way to somehow get UK instead.
