Hi Alexander -

I'm not sure! This didn't happen with my old scanner, and if you are right,
and the second scan is not a scan but the recognition process, then I'd hate
to scann a book with this machine, as each scann really is slow; I'm
wondering as it is an all-in-one machine, if something else is going on
after the scan, maybe the copier kicks in and takes a copy after the scan,
if so, I need to somehow turn this off, but so far I've no certain knowledge
that this is happening, and can't see any evidence that it is!

I only have FR, I don't use K1000, I'm not of fan of that software having
used it in the past! -

Andy

| Hi Andy,
|
| I don't use the same scanner as you, but I would guess that what you think
| of as the second scan, is actually the recognition process taking place.
|
| I would suggest that it may help you to Join the K1000 list if you
actually
| have Kurtzweil 1000 installed. Otherwise, I could forward your question
on
| to that list and see if members of that list can give you any further
| pointers if you need them.
|
| I hope this helps.
