[access-uk] Re: 1471 free ring back

All,

Remember what I said about training!!! just dial 195, give your pin and
name, then ask for registration, don't tell them why! then ask them to
check whether or not you are registered for the free 1471 ringback
service. Remember only customers new to the service are automatically
registered for both the 195 and 1471 services. If you have been using
the 195 service for a while like myself, then you are most probably,
like I was not registered for the 1471 ringback service. If you aren't,
you will be able to tell from your phone bill if you have used the
service and been charged.

Dave

Well I just did it from 195 and they did that. When they ask for your
PIN and name, just say: "Excuse me but please could you put me through
to Registrations because I want to discuss the 1471 ring back option on
my Directory Enquiries service". Roughly that's what I said, but I
reckon it really depends who's at the other end of the phone. From what
people are saying, they don't all get it do they?

And according to them, we are all receiving the service automatically.
Wouldn't be too sure about that mind you (smile).
